Turkish, Kyrgyz foreign ministers to discuss bilateral ties

Mevlut Cavusoglu will meet his Kyrgyz counterpart Jeenbek Kulubaev in Türkiye's capital Ankara

ANKARA (AA) - Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev will pay a two-day visit to Türkiye for official talks, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

The ministry said in a statement that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Kulubaev will chair the 5th meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group in the capital Ankara.

The ministers will also discuss bilateral relations as well as regional issues.

Türkiye was the first country to recognize the independence of Kyrgyzstan in 1992.
