ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish prefabricated buildings producer Karmod on Friday introduced a 40-ton capacity polyethylene liquid storage tank, expanding its product range as demand grows for higher-volume industrial storage.
The company said the new model complements its existing single-body tanks with capacities of up to 25,000 liters.
Karmod Plastik Group General Manager Talay Ozturk said the launch coincides with the company’s 40th anniversary, calling it a “meaningful coincidence” that the 40-ton tank was developed in its 40th year.
Karmod manufactures liquid storage tanks using polyethylene, polyester and stainless steel raw materials, producing nearly 100 different models with capacities ranging from 50 liters to 100 tons. In the polyester and stainless steel categories, the company can manufacture single-body tanks with capacities of up to 100 tons, Ozturk said.
The new 40-ton polyethylene tank features an optimized vertical design aimed at maximizing space efficiency in industrial settings.
“Developed to meet high-volume storage needs, the new model provides significant space advantages at usage sites thanks to its optimized vertical design,” Ozturk said.
He added that the tank is designed for organized industrial zones, large production facilities, fire water reserve systems and infrastructure projects.
The unit is produced using single-piece monoblock technology to ensure maximum leak resistance, he said.
Ozturk said customer feedback played a key role in the product’s development, noting that the new model allows users to meet capacity requirements with a single tank instead of installing two separate units in the same space.
Karmod said it continues to expand its liquid storage portfolio with new models in response to evolving market demand.
