Turkish PM's visit to Singapore to focus on economy

Yildirim to attend Singapore-Turkey business forum and hold talks with president and prime minister

ANKARA (AA) - In his first visit to Singapore as prime minister, Binali Yildirim is to focus on relations between the two countries and on the possibility for future economic cooperation.

According to the Prime Ministry sources, Yildirim is scheduled meet his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong and President Tony Tan Keng Yam on Monday.

The Turkish premier will also attend a Singapore-Turkey business forum.

He is also scheduled to then go on an official visit to Vietnam and is expected to be back in Turkey on Thursday.
