Turkish President Erdogan departs from White House after talks with Trump

Leaders hold bilateral Oval Office meeting followed by working lunch

WASHINGTON (AA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday departed from the White House after holding talks with his US counterpart Donald Trump.

The leaders held a bilateral Oval Office meeting followed by a working lunch.

Erdogan was in New York to attend this year's session of the UN General Assembly and arrived Wednesday in the nation's capital, where he stayed at Blair House, the US president’s official guest residence.
