Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday received Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in the Turkish capital Ankara for a series of high-level meetings between the two neighboring countries.
After the welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Complex, Erdogan and Mitsotakis proceeded to their bilateral meeting.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Presidential Chief Advisor on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Cagatay Kilic also took part in the meeting.
Following their one-on-one meeting, Erdogan and Mitsotakis are scheduled to co-chair the sixth meeting of the Türkiye-Greece High-Level Cooperation Council in an expanded format with delegations from both sides.
The leaders are also expected to attend a signing ceremony for bilateral agreements and hold a joint news conference afterward.
