Turkish President Erdogan to meet US counterpart Biden in Lithuanian capital

Meeting will start at 1500 GMT on Tuesday, according to Turkish presidency sources

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his US counterpart Joe Biden will meet on Tuesday as part of the NATO leaders’ summit in Lithuania's capital Vilnius.

The meeting will start at 1500 GMT, according to Turkish presidency sources.

On Sunday, Erdogan and Biden agreed to have a one-on-one meeting at the NATO summit slated for July 11-12.

Speaking over the phone, they also discussed a range of matters including Sweden's bid to join NATO and the US sale of F-16 fighter jets to Türkiye.
