Turkish president meets Sudan's Sovereignty Council chief in Ankara

Working dinner with delegations to follow closed-door talks between Erdogan, Burhan

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Sudan Sovereignty Council Chair Abdel Fattah al-Burhan at the Presidential Complex in the Turkish capital Ankara on Thursday.

Following the closed-door bilateral meeting between Erdogan and Burhan, the delegations will have a working dinner.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumakli, national intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, head of Defense Industries Secretariat Haluk Gorgun, and Chief Foreign Policy and Security Adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic were also present at the welcoming ceremony.
