ANKARA (AA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday for the first time met with UK's new Prime Minister Liz Truss after she assumed office in early September.
The closed-door meeting between Erdogan and Truss was held in New York, where the 77th UN General Assembly is underway.
No further information was released about the meeting.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu attended the funeral of late Queen Elizabeth II as Türkiye’s official representative.
