Turkey to maintain solidarity, cooperation with Spain against pandemic, President Erdogan tells Prime Minister Sanchez

ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish president and prime minister of Spain on Thursday held a meeting via video conference, according to Turkey's Communications Directorate.

In the meeting with Pedro Sanchez, Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan underlined that his country would continue to be in solidarity and cooperation with Spain in the fight against the novel coronavirus, the directorate said in a statement.

Erdogan and Sanchez also discussed regional developments and ways to deepen and boost bilateral relations.

Accompanying Erdogan were also Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and defense chief Hulus Akar.
