ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 11.041,82 points, up slightly 0.03%, or 3.5 points, from the previous close.
On Monday, the BIST 100 rose 0.6% to 11,038.32 points, with a daily transaction volume of 100.3 billion Turkish liras ($2.46 billion).
As of 11 am local time (0800GMT), exchange rates stood at 40.7150 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 47.3490 to the euro, and 54.8410 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,355.60, while Brent crude oil was trading at $66.60 per barrel.
