ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 10,960.78 points, up 0.28%, or 31.02 points, from the previous close.
On Monday, the BIST 100 rose 0.54% to 10,929.77 points, with a daily transaction volume of 118.9 billion Turkish liras ($2.9 billion).
As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT) Tuesday, exchange rates stood at 40.8950 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 47.7840 to the euro, and 55.3190 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,336.30, while Brent crude oil was trading at $65.70 per barrel.
