ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 10,911.28 points, up 0.37% or 40.71 points from the previous close.
On Friday, the BIST 100 rose 0.43% to close at 10,870.57 points, with a daily transaction volume of 97.5 billion Turkish liras ($2.38 billion).
As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT), exchange rates stood at 40.8945 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 47.8540 to the euro, and 55.4315 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,350.20, while Brent crude oil was trading at $65.60 per barrel.
