ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the midweek at 9,136.54 points, up slightly by 0.02% or 1.85 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 rose by 0.25% to 9,134.68 points, with a daily transaction volume of 83.6 billion Turkish liras ($2.16 billion).
As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT), exchange rates stood at 38.6430 liras to the US dollar, 43.9760 to the euro, and 51.6620 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,389.80, while Brent crude oil was trading at $62.75 per barrel.
