Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 9,530.67 points, slightly rising 0.08% or 7.36 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 dropped 1.41% to close at 9,523.31 points, with a daily transaction volume of 92.5 billion Turkish liras ($2.43 billion).
As of 09.53 am local time (0653GMT), exchange rates stood at 37.9129 liras to the US dollar, 41.7635 to the euro, and 49.7064 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,151.19, while Brent crude oil was trading at $72.96 per barrel.
