ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul closed at 2,543.33 points on Thursday, a slight decrease of 0.03% from the previous close.
Starting the day at 2,567.20 points, the BIST 100 index was flat from Wednesday's close of 2,544.12.
The total market value was 2 trillion Turkish liras ($113.5 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of over 31.5 billion Turkish liras ($1.8 billion).
One ounce of gold traded for $1,745 by market close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was at $102.7 per barrel as of 6.45 p.m. local time (1645GMT).
