ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 13,585.64 points, slightly down 0.03% or 3.5 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 dropped 2.17%, closing at 13,589.14 points with a trading volume of 192 billion liras ($4.41 billion).
As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), the US dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate stood at 43.6135, the EUR/TRY rate was 51.4945, and the GBP/TRY rate was 59.2385.
The price of one ounce of gold was $4,854.70, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $68.1.
