ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last trading day of the week at 9,461.18 points, falling 0.15% or 14.04 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index jumped 0.81% to close at 9,475.21 points, with a daily transaction volume of 103.9 billion Turkish liras ($2.67 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 39.0305 as of 9.50 a.m. (0650GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 44.1670, and the GBP/TRY traded at 52.5205.
The price of one ounce of gold was $3,329.20, while the price of Brent crude oil was around $63.55 per barrel.
