Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 10,013.36 points, rising 0.13% or 12.64 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 1.1% to close the day at 10,000.72 points, with a daily transaction volume of 95.2 billion liras ($2.69 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 35.4221 as of 09.54 am (0654GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 36.4176, and the GBP/TRY traded at 43.4638.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,702.30 and the price of Brent crude oil was around $77.35 per barrel.
