ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 10,125.49 points, rising 0.13% or 12.73 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index inched up 0.07% to close the day at 10,112.76 points, with a daily transaction volume of 115.1 billion liras ($3.23billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 35.7032 as of 09.55 am (0655GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 37.3765, and the GBP/TRY traded at 44.2859.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,774.10 and the price of Brent crude oil was around $77.57 per barrel.
