Turkish stock exchange opens midweek flat

BIST 100 gains 3.3 points

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 11,186.27 points, up 0.03% or 3.31 points.

On Tuesday, the BIST 100 was up by 1.66% at 11,182.96 points with a daily transaction volume of 169 billion Turkish liras ($4.1 billion).

As of 10.35 am local time (0725GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.2970 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.9560 to the euro, and 56.3660 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $3,670.50, while Brent crude oil was trading at $67.95 per barrel.
