ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 9,238.81 points, up 0.46% or 42.68 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 dropped 1.54% to 9,196.13 points, with a daily transaction volume of 84.9 billion Turkish liras ($2.15 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 39.5585 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 45.4810 to the euro, and 53.1825 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,356.80, while Brent crude oil was trading at $75.90 per barrel.
