ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 13,867.12 points, falling 0.17%, or 24.09 points, from the previous close.
On Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 rose 0.11% to close at a record high of 13,891.21 points, with a daily transaction volume of 201.3 billion Turkish liras ($4.62 billion).
As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 43.5340 liras to the US dollar, 51.4375 to the euro, and 59.3930 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,924.05, while Brent crude oil was trading at $67.9 per barrel.
