ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 10,315.25 points, rising 1.24%, or 126.22 points, from the previous close.
On Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 earned 1.08% to close at 10,189.02 points, with a daily transaction volume of 146.7 billion Turkish liras ($3.69 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 39.8820 liras to the US dollar, 47.0550 to the euro, and 54.4045 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,357.45, while Brent crude oil was trading at $68.30 per barrel.
