ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST100 opened Friday at 9,882.60 points, up 0.16% or 15.87 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, the BIST 100 index rose by 1.30% to 9,866.73 points, with a daily transaction volume of 101 billion liras ($2.85 billion).
As of 10.00 am (0700GMT), the exchange rates stood at 35.5470 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 36.5790 for the euro, and 43.4180 for the British pound.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,712.80, and Brent crude oil traded at $80.60 per barrel.
