ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 9,237.16 points, up 0.65% or 59.46 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 fell by 0.39% to 9,177.7 points, with a daily transaction volume of 64 billion Turkish liras ($1.63 billion).
As of 10.15 am local time (0715GMT), exchange rates stood at 39.0995 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 44.2010 to the euro, and 52.7750 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,280.40, while Brent crude oil was trading at $65.20 per barrel.
