ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 10,095.36 points, up 0.18% or 18.38 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 0.44% to close at 10,076.99 points, with a daily transaction volume of 102 billion liras ($2.85 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 35.7915 as of 9.55 am (0655GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 37.2750, and the GBP/TRY traded at 44.5255.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,762.50, while the price of Brent crude oil was around $75.55 per barrel.
