ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish and Ukrainian presidents on Wednesday held a phone call to share their thoughts on combatting coronavirus, according to an official statement.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Volodymyr Zelensky also discussed bilateral relations and regional issues, said Turkey's Communications Directorate.
After surfacing in Wuhan, China last December, coronavirus has spread to 180 countries and regions. The global death toll from COVID-19 has surpassed 45,400, with more than 911,300 cases confirmed worldwide, according to U.S.-based Johns Hopkins University.
