Turkish, Ukrainian presidents meet in Istanbul

Closed-door meeting between Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Petro Poroshenko lasts for over an hour

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's president met with his Ukrainian counterpart in Istanbul on Saturday, according to a statement issued by Turkish presidency.

The closed-door meeting between Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Petro Poroshenko at the Vahdettin Pavilion in the Uskudar district lasted for one hour and fifteen minutes, the statement said.

No further details of the meeting were provided.
