ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's Bedia Gun bagged a bronze medal in the 2019 European Wrestling Championships in Romania on Thursday.
In women's 55-kg freestyle, Gun beat Belarusian opponent to claim bronze medal in the tournament in Bucharest.
Turkey's Evin Demirhan also won a bronze medal. In women's 50-kg freestyle, Demirhan beat Azerbaijani rival to claim the bronze medal.
Meanwhile, Turkish wrestlers in men's freestyle won a total of 3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals and ranked second with 156 points after Russia with 162 points at the international event.
