Türkiye, Pakistan to hold political consultations in Ankara

Bilateral relations, regional and international developments will be discussed during talks, says official statement

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye will hold political consultations with Pakistan in the capital Ankara on Wednesday.

According to a statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akcapar will head the Turkish side, while the Pakistani team will be headed by Foreign Secretary Asad Majeed Khan during the talks.

"At the consultations, all aspects of bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments will be discussed and the preparations for the prospective High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting will be reviewed with friendly and brotherly Pakistan, " the statement read.
