ISTANBUL/BOGOTA, Colombia (AA) – Türkiye’s newly appointed Ambassador to Mexico, Murat Selim Esenli, presented his credentials to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.
Sheinbaum shared the credentials in a post on X.
Speaking to Anadolu, Esenli emphasized the strategic partnership between Türkiye and Mexico, saying the two countries are advancing bilateral relations in all areas.
He noted that the signing of a free trade agreement could significantly enhance economic and trade cooperation.
Esenli also highlighted opportunities for further collaboration in the energy and defense sectors, underlining the potential for strengthening ties between the two countries.
