ANKARA (AA) — Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Wednesday at 10,105.37 points, hiking 1.06% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 105.82 points on Wednesday with a daily transaction volume of 92.4 billion liras ($2.6 billion) and reversed its losses from the previous day.
The price of an ounce of gold was $2,765.86, while Brent crude oil sold for around $79.05 per barrel as of 6.23 p.m. local time (1523GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 35.6575, the euro/lira exchange rate was 37.1795, and the British pound traded at 43.9440 liras.
