ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 9,345.15 points, down 0.12% from the previous close.
Starting the week at 9,419.94 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 10.89 points from Friday's close.
The index's lowest value during the day was 9,296.30, while its daily high was 9,419.94.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 8.52 trillion Turkish liras ($219.5 billion), with a daily trading volume of 66.5 billion Turkish liras ($1.7 billion).
During the day, 60 stocks on the index fell and 40 rose compared to the previous close.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,338,90, while Brent crude oil sold for around $64.30 per barrel as of 6.20 p.m. local time (1520GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 38.9640, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 44.3845, while one British pound trading for 52.8805 Turkish liras.
