ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 14,061.71 points, up 0.92% from the previous close.
Starting the new week at 14,092.16 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index climbed 127.65 points from Friday's close.
The index's lowest value during the day was 14,019.99, while its daily high was 14,190.09.
During the day, 68 stocks on the index rose and 29 fell compared to the previous close.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 13.94 trillion Turkish liras ($319.2 billion), with a daily trading volume of 189.6 billion Turkish liras ($4.32 billion).
The price of an ounce of gold was $5,197.50, while Brent crude oil sold for around $72 per barrel as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 43.8430, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 51.7920, and the British pound traded for 59.3035 Turkish liras.
