ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Thursday at an all-time high of 13,831.09 points, climbing 3.16% day-on-day.
Starting the day at 13,502.29 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 423.65 points from Wednesday's close.
The lowest value of the index was 13,480.55, while the daily high 13,906.51.
The market value of BIST 100 was around 13.65 trillion Turkish liras ($315.1 billion), with an all-time high trading volume of 302.5 billion liras ($6.96 billion).
Some 74 stocks on the index rose and 26 dropped, compared to the previous close.
Gold was $5,335.15 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $69.15 per barrel as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 43.4280, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 51.8875, and the British pound traded for 59.8860 liras.
