ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Thursday at 10,918.51 points, down 1.07%.
After starting the day at 11,029.06 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 118.31 points from Wednesday's close.
The lowest value of the index was 10,896.69, while the daily high was 11,077.70.
The market value of the BIST 100 was around 10.31 trillion Turkish liras ($243.3 billion), with a trading volume of 129.6 billion liras ($3.05 billion).
Some 64 stocks on the index declined and 35 gained compared to the previous close.
Gold was $4,205.75 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $62.65 per barrel as of 6.30 pm local time (1530GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 42.4465, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 49.6530, and the British pound traded for 56.9480 liras.
