ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended the day at 10,616.09 points on Tuesday, falling 0.09 points.
The index started the day at 10,637.42 points and the lowest value was 10,593.44, while the daily high was 10,680.16.
The market value of BIST 100 was around 9.8 trillion Turkish liras ($242.8 billion), with a trading volume of 119 billion Turkish liras ($2.95 billion).
Some 48 stocks on the index rose and 50 dropped, compared to the previous close.
Gold was $3,428.90 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $67.70 per barrel as of 7.10 p.m. local time (1610GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 40.4205, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 47.5530, and the British pound traded for 54.7250 Turkish liras.
