ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last trading day of the week at 10,755.12 points, up 0.11%, or 11.92 points, from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 climbed 1.17% to close at 10,743.20 points, with a daily transaction volume of 113 billion Turkish liras ($2.79 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 40.6690 liras to the US dollar, 46.5270 to the euro, and 53.7545 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,290.95, while Brent crude oil was trading at $71.50 per barrel.
