ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 10,338.24 points, down 0.31%, or 32.55 points, from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 fell 0.9% to close at 10,370.78 points, with a daily transaction volume of 131 billion liras ($3.13 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.9498 liras to the US dollar, 49.1670 to the euro, and 56.4755 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,362.75, while Brent crude oil was trading at $60.65 per barrel.
