ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index was at 2,571.57 points at Thursday’s close, up 1.23%.
Starting the day at 2,548.64 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 31.21 points from the previous close of 2,540.36 points.
The index's lowest value during the day was 2,511.36 points, while its daily high was 2,575.28 points.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 2.09 trillion Turkish liras ($121.66 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 46.5 billion Turkish liras ($2.7 billion).
During the day, 67 stocks on the index rose, 29 fell and four were unchanged compared to the previous close.
The price of an ounce of gold was $1,846.95, while Brent crude oil sold at around $123.5 per barrel as of 6.54 p.m. local time (1554GMT).
