ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul opened at 2,876.03 on Tuesday, gaining 0.66% or 18.85 points, from the previous close.
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 17.9642 as of 10.14 a.m. local time (0714GMT) versus 17.9630 on Monday.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate went down to 18.2169 from 18.3250, while a British pound traded for 21.5903 Turkish liras, down from 21.8230 at the previous close.
Brent crude oil was selling at around $94.25 per barrel.
