Türkiye's exports rise to $22.6B in March

Foreign trade gap narrows by 10.3% year-on-year, trade minister says

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's exports rose by 4.1% to $22.58 billion in March, the Turkish trade minister said on Thursday.

The country's exports were worth $20 billion in January and $21.1 billion in February, Omer Bolat said.

Imports dropped by 5.7% to $30.09 billion year-on-year in the month, he said, adding that the foreign trade deficit thus narrowed by 10.3% on a yearly basis.

The export-import coverage ratio was 75%, improving by 1.3% over the same period.
