ANKARA (AA) - Turkiye’s parliament speaker on Friday congratulated Kuwait on its National Day that marks the day when Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah ascended to the throne in 1950.
"I fully believe that our relations, which have developed on the basis of deep-rooted historical and cultural ties between our friendly and brotherly countries, will be further enriched in the direction of common values and interests," Mustafa Sentop said in a letter to his counterpart Marzouq Ali Mohammed Al-Ghanim.
Sentop noted that bilateral relations will be further developed in close cooperation between the two parliaments.
He also wished health, peace, and happiness to the people of Kuwait.
