ISTANBUL (AA) - Fears have mounted that English Premier League player Emiliano Sala was on light aircraft which disappeared between France and Cardiff.
There is "genuine concern" that the 28-year-old was on the flight, BBC News reported on Tuesday.
"It is feared the Argentine striker was one of two people on board the Piper Malibu, which disappeared off Alderney on Monday night," BBC News said.
On Saturday, Cardiff City signed Sala from French club Nantes with a £15m transfer fee.
