LONDON (AA) - Fire and emergency services are attending a helicopter crash in North Yorkshire, England, local police said on Wednesday afternoon.
A helicopter has crashed "near the village of Aldborough near Boroughbridge," in Midlands shortly after 13:00 P.M. (14:00 GMT), police said in a statement.
"Police received the report at 1.23 p.m. today," it said.
The statement said "it is too early to provide details of any casualties at this stage."
"Crews from Boroughbridge, Knaresborough, Harrogate & Ripon on route to Aldborough area for reports of a light aircraft believed to have come down in a field," another statement from North Yorkshire Fire Department said.
