ISTANBUL (AA) - At least two civilians were killed and 17 others injured as Russian forces shelled settlements in Ukraine’s southern Kherson region, the regional prosecutor’s office said on Friday.
Russia used artillery and drones of various types in Kherson, the office said in a statement, adding that apartment buildings, a dormitory of an educational institution, retail outlets, religious and economic buildings, garages, and vehicles were damaged.
Russia did not immediately respond to the claims and independent verification is difficult due to the ongoing conflict.
