KYIV, Ukraine (AA) - Ukraine's Defense Minister Andrii Taran submitted his resignation to the country's parliament, an official said on Tuesday.
Taras Melnychuk, the government's representative to parliament, announced Taran's resignation on Telegram, without mentioning any details on the decision.
The ruling Servant of the People party said on Monday that it supported Oleksii Reznikov as the new defense minister.
Reznikov later resigned from the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.
Minister of Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky had also submitted his resignation on Monday, followed by Economy Minister Oleksiy Lubchenko earlier on Tuesday.
