ASTANA (AA) - UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk on Friday said that they have documented every incident regarding human rights in Ukraine.

Holding a press conference at the UN Office in Astana, Turk shared information about the two reports that they will publish on human rights and military exchange in Ukraine next week.

Turk stated that millions of people in Ukraine spent the winter without electricity, without access to water and heating systems, underlining it is "a serious violation of human rights."

Noting that his team continues to work in Ukraine, he said Russia's war in Ukraine is "a clear violation of the UN Charter and international law."

He also said he had a productive meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

He said he finds the reforms that Tokayev put into action "very well" such as the establishment of the Constitutional Court, the strengthening of the Human Rights Office and the complete abolition of the death penalty.
