JERUSALEM (AA) - Four employees of the Israeli prime minister's office in West Jerusalem were adversely affected after inhaling an “unidentified substance”, Israeli media reported Tuesday.
According to Israel’s Channel 10, the four employees were immediately taken to hospital after showing signs of sickness.
"The unidentified substance was sent to the prime minister’s office by envelope,” the broadcaster reported, going on to note that the substance had been discovered during a routine security check.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was not in the office at the time on the incident, according to Channel 10.
Police investigators are now examining the scene, the broadcaster added.
