Up 3-1 in NBA Finals series, Denver Nuggets look to clinch first NBA title on Monday

Game 5 to be held Monday at Denver's home court as Nuggets on 3-1 lead

ANKARA (AA) - The Denver Nuggets are very close to their first-ever NBA title this season as they need one more win to take the trophy.

In the Game 2, the Miami Heat tied the series 1-1 after a 111-108 win in Denver's home court.

But the Nuggets are now on a 3-1 lead to control the tie after they beat the Heat 109-94, and 108-95 in Miami.

Nikola Jokic is leading the Nuggets, averaging 30.8 points per game in the series. The Serbian star also averaged 13.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists.

Heat center-forward Bam Adebayo is his team's high with 22.3 point-per game.

In addition, Adebayo tallied 12.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists per game average in the Nuggets vs. Heat series.

Nuggets can clinch the NBA title after the Game 5 that will be held Monday evening at Denver's Ball Arena.

Miami won the NBA title in 2006, 2012 and 2013, must win the remaining games to survive.

The Heat's odds look slim to none as only Cleveland Cavaliers (2016) came back from 3-1 deficit in a finals series in NBA history to win the title.
